Background:

Deprogrammed is an ongoing project exploring the use of Communist / Soviet style posters to convey the thought process behind conformity. The self portraits are doll - like and lifeless, standing in unnatural poses to emphasizes the way ones mind can be indoctrinated by an idea. Using digital collage and media, I am seeking to create a strong visual identity to controlling governments and leaders of the past and look at how design impacted that level of widespread influence/
